Community Involvement

Transition Programs
Complete Office is working with both Federal Way Public Schools and Spokane Public Schools in assisting students work toward the most independent lifestyle possible. The Employment and Transition Program (ETP) is designed to assist students with developmental disabilities toward the most independent lifestyle possible. The students range from 18 to 21 years of age and have gone through the traditional three-year high school program. Upon graduation, the students have the option of entering the ETP program. Once in the program, the ETP staff work closely with the families to put together the best plan possible to meet the needs of each individual student.
These students spend between two to three hours per day in work situations. Most of these positions are non-paid work experience, though they do provide valuable training toward becoming a successful future employee. Once a student has completed the program they have the option of being hired by the business they have been working at. It is our hope that by providing these students work experience that they will be able to live an independent life.

Elizabeth Gregory Home
Complete Office has partnered with the Elizabeth Gregory Home to help serve women who are recovering from homelessness by providing transitional supportive housing and hospitality that will help them move toward an enriched life within our community.
The face of homelessness has changed as more women, single and with children find themselves living in poverty. Domestic violence is one of the leading contributors of homelessness for women. On any given night in the Greater Seattle area there are approximately 8300 homeless individuals sleeping on the street – 3000 of them women.
The Elizabeth Gregory Home aims to provide support, community and stability for women who are motivated to change their lives. The EGH does this through their Transitional Housing and Drop In Center Program
On average EGH successfully transitions 12 women annually, from living on the streets into permanent supportive housing. These women are now either gainfully employed or continuing their education to become employed. EGH is showing Seattle that with care and a helping hand, we can help homeless women re-enter society and make a difference in their lives.
We appreciate your support of Complete Office in helping us in our effort to end homelessness for women in our community.
